Flame Center has our own in-house service department that is dedicated to gas fireplace and stove repair. We are not HVAC techs or plumbers, but true factory-trained gas fireplace and gas stove Service Technicians. Our technicians are also trained in servicing pellet stoves and inserts, wood stoves, and gas grills. We carry many of the parts on the trucks to get the job done, normally in one service trip (excludes some makes and models).
Most gas fireplace and stove equipment should be maintained at least every 2-3 years by a qualified service person, but many manufacturers recommend yearly service. The ember beds can wear over time, soot can build up, pilots can start to fail, paint starts to peel, etc. We will clean, restore, and make it as close to new as possible.
Some jobs are simple, some more complex, but Flame Center can solve most any service issue. We will tell you the truth on what needs to be done to restore your fireplace or stove to maximum operation.

Flame Center services all of the Grand Rapids and surrounding West Michigan areas. This includes all the major cities and suburbs from the Northeast side Rockford and Ada, to South East side including Caledonia, and Kentwood, to the southwest area Jenison and Grandville, to northwest including Allendale, Comstock Park, and Sparta. We also service the Lakeshore area, including Muskegon, Grand Haven, West Olive, Holland/ Zeeland and on to Saugatuck/ Douglas and South Haven. South of Grand Rapids includes Wayland, Allegan, Plainwell, and Kalamazoo. We will also travel further as we have the best service crew in town and are in demand! For example, we have serviced fireplaces in a customer’s primary home in town and then they asked us to service their cottage too!
SEASONAL SERVICE RESTRICTIONS:
Because our service team is in such high demand during the “Burn Season” (between September and May), which is our busiest time of the year,we are restricted on our time table for service.
